Description: This beautiful Italian restaurant, Domus Aurea, is located in the opulence of the Safari Centre in Las Americas, it rubs shoulders with established tourist pleasers such as the Greek restaurant Taberna el Greco and the Indian restaurant Bombay Blue.

This exclusive Italian restaurant Domus Aurea has a fine selection of dishes on the menu, specialising in traditional Italian dishes as well as international food. The dishes are rich and elegantly presentated in cozy sourroundings, and a nice large terrace with white napkins and impressive statues of the Roman Emperors.

Some of the succulent Italian specialties are for instance the Oven baked pasta like Lasagnetta "Gambero rosso", with prawn ragout and seafood sauce. Or the tasty Abbachio al forno alla romana; a Roman recipe of roasted lamb, potatoes, garlic and rosemary.

Or the selected dishes by Tenerife dining's visit: Sole "Walevska" and the Sole "Reina", with white wine sauce, mushrooms and king prawns. Fillet steak with bearnaise sauce and garlic potatoes. The fish is excellent and very fresh, the meat juicy and tender with a real bearnaise sauce.

The restaurant has a good choice of both Italian, Spanish and Canarian fine wines. The staff is multilingual, professional and friendly, with always a special welcome to all clients. Whitch are of many nationalities in Playa de las Americas.

The pricing is reasonable, and the quality excellent! The readers reviews from turists in the Costa Adeje area, south Tenerife, speaks for them selves.

Absolutely excellent food, service and wine in this restaurant just upstairs in the Safari Centre. One of the best restaurants in the area I will most certainly be back again.. The ambience is very relaxed and laid back so you can enjoy your meal in peace. See you again!

My family and I ate here afew days ago and we were pleasantly suprised with the range of food they had to offer. Other than Pizza and Pasta that you may only experience in an Italian restaurant, they had fresh fish, Steak, Chicken and various vegetarian dishes.
Beautiful decor of the restauarant and all of the staff were extremely friendly and upbeat.
we will absolutely be back to this restuarant. Fantastic food, great service and good value for money!
Grazie!

Had a perfect dinner in this great restaurant. For me it's the best
in the whole area! Real fresh food and great taste. By the way
very kind "camareros". God luck for the future too.

I think they have the best italian food in south Tenerife! So I
really can recommend this to all visiting Tenerife.

Go to CC Safari Las Americas which has very nice shops. After
shopping for a very nice dinner to DOMVS AVREA.
I like the ambience, the nicely presented and delicious food. Had
the chance to meet the chef too. Very nice guy. I think that he
cooks really with passion. When you get your dish served you will
know what I'm talking about. They really style the food so that
it's an enjoyment for your eyes too.
