Description: It is a corner where the noisy atmosphere of the Safari shopping centre is diminished, pretty and smart, Maria Bonita is a restaurant where a form of gastronomy which joins two styles can be enjoyed: At midday, fabulous traditional kitchen proposals are offered by the outstanding chef Pedro Gonzalez (his menu sparkles with two starters, two main courses and dessert at the low cost of 11€...), and at night an avant garde kitchen that threads, challenges and moves the sensitivety of those lovers of creative gastronomy, in the hands of Miguel Paz, a chef with a substantial career path. Miguel worked for the last 10 years in Mexico as an Executive Chef in a prestigious hotel chain, participating in international gastronomic festivals, and collaborations with the Spanish Embassy, interesting investigations into cooking and 'stages' in the 'Bulli Hotel Sevilla' and the 'Taller de Barcelona'. His vast experience is seen reflected in the dishes at this new restaurant.

User Reviews for Maria Bonita -

Beautiful food quite expensive as portion sizes are not very big but food really is special. Waiters and staff are extremely freindly. Even though the rastaurant is very up market it is also very welcoming to families. You have got to try it.

Tenerife Dining's Chef Of The Month

Nicola Picciau was born in Milan in 1978, and from an early age he displayed a passion for cooking and working in kitchens, as was the family tradition, inherited from their ancestors. He first learnt his cooking skills from his Grandmother's farm in Sardinia, where he kept his large family happy with various Mediterranean recipes.
