Description: The adjectives that this Canarian kitchen provokes (finesse, exquisiteness, beauty....), would not be so surprising if the chef were evidently an islander. Astonishingly we find ourselves with a chef from Rugen, the far off German island in the Baltic Sea, that without media importance stands out for cereals, good fishing and forestry logging. This is where Arne Fritzsche comes from, spirited chef of the house owned by a fellow German, Dennis Schoon and his partner, Tenerife born enologist, David Rodriguez. The premises give the impression of a profound maturity, as if it had begun its journey several years ago. In the ambience and decorative detail the efficiency of a young team who enjoy their profession is obvious. As well as in the way that the dishes are produced and enhanced (Arne fine tunes harmonies dosed with seasonings and combines by request Canarian with European cooking), here the flavours of the principle ingredients are joined by the best wines, a result of Davidīs experience of matching food and wine.

Nicola Picciau was born in Milan in 1978, and from an early age he displayed a passion for cooking and working in kitchens, as was the family tradition, inherited from their ancestors. He first learnt his cooking skills from his Grandmother's farm in Sardinia, where he kept his large family happy with various Mediterranean recipes.
